Chocolate Dipped Banana Popsicles

This is how I'm celebrating halloween!  Chocolate and sprinkles.

Nothing fancy but a lot of fun! And a healthy treat...sort of...well that's what I'm telling myself at least.

Oh and dressing up like a cat (I love that my eyes got the cat-like glow in the pic, purrrr-fect).  My guy is supposed to be a circus weight lifter guy, but it was 50 degrees out so the hoodie covered up most of his costume.

Amazing 'stache though isn't it?

We had a blast at our friends party and ended the night sitting around a fire pit roasting hot dogs and occasionally throwing bits of rosemary in to the fire for a little aromatherapy action.

Are you ready for Halloween?  Go to any fun parties this weekend?

We won't get many trick o'treaters and I'm so bummed!  That's my fav part, getting to see all the little kids super excited in their unique costumes.  It's so fun.

But chocolate & sprinkle dipped bananas can be fun too, so there's that.

I'm excited to announce the winner of the Muir Glen Giveaway!

#13 Kamila G @ Sensual Appeal  Congrats!!  You should have an email from me waiting for you :)

Thanks so much to everyone who entered!

Chocolate Dipped Banana Popsicles

Bunch of Bananas, halved
1 container Baker's Dipping Chocolate
Lollipop sticks

1.  Poke sticks into the flat bottom of half a banana (repeat until all bananas are on sticks), arrange on wax paper or parchment paper lined baking sheet and pop in the freezer for 30-45 minutes.

2.  Remove the banana pops from the freezer and set aside.  Spread out another piece of wax or parchment paper and get your sprinkles ready to go.  Following the directions on the dipping chocolate package, melt the chocolate in the microwave.

3.  Dip each banana in the melted chocolate, coating it evenly, let some of the excess drip off and then over the paper...sprinkles with your favorite topping.  Set the finished banana back on the baking sheet and repeat with the rest of the bunch.

4.  Pop the finished popsicles into the freezer for another 30-45 minutes or until the chocolate has frozen.
